Real Change, One Family at a Time

A New Well, A New Beginning
A New Well, A New Beginning

For years, a family in rural Bong County walked miles each day to collect water from a source that made their children sick more often than not. After CARE rehabilitated the community’s hand pump, clean water is now just steps from their door – and the family has seen fewer missed school days and doctor visits since.

Relief From a Lifetime of Pain
Relief From a Lifetime of Pain

An elderly man in Montserrado County had lived with untreated tooth decay for over a decade, with no way to afford care. At one of CARE’s free mobile dental clinics, he received treatment that finally relieved his pain – something he never thought would be possible.

Back in the Classroom
Back in the Classroom

A young girl from a disadvantaged family in Grand Bassa County had fallen behind in school without proper supplies or a place to sit. Through CARE’s school support program, she received a chair and a full set of school supplies – and now attends class every day.
